The Academy was designed for aspiring Leaders, Project Managers, Team Leaders and Project Management Officers - you get scrum certified and ready to run the framework and manage scrum teams. More details in our one pager, registration ends 31.07.
The program prepares Scrum Masters for their challenging role as Servant Leaders of teams and organizations.
Participants of the Academy learn and practice all necessary skills and tools to lead a Scrum Team and get rock-solid with the Scrum framework.
International insights by successful Scrum Masters & Coaches and practice teaching of real-life situations form key parts of the program (40%).
The Scrum Master Academy requires a total time investment of 100 hours spread over four months (September to December). This includes 10 hours of individual coaching and the PSM1 Scrum Master certification (preparation and test).

We had a closer look at the Scrum Master positions in Switzerland where our clients are based:
There are currently more than 800 positions advertised on LinkedIn and another 380 on the most popular job search engines.
Companies across all industries and sizes, from start-ups to big names such as UBS, Credit Suisse, ABB or Accenture are promoting the role of the Scrum Master. And, we see the continuation of this high demand also in the near future.
From the graph you can see that IT is still leading however, the Scrum Master role is getting introduced in many more fields such as HR, Financial Sector, Marketing, Communication etc.(Graph represents open Scrum Master positions in May 2022 in Switzerland)
We at VPP Solutions realize the growing importance of Agile in the current business environment and that is why we are actively working to promote Agile in Slovakia.
In close cooperation with Diana Rusnakova we are working on Scrum Master Academy Concept that will provide future Scrum Masters not only with solid knowledge but also give them the opportunity to gain relevant certification and most importantly to observe and practice.

Not all roles in IT are purely programming. The Scrum Master role is one of the most exciting and challenging ones in the Info Technology environment.
With agile models concurring more functions and organizations, the role of the Scrum Master becomes increasingly important.
Slovakia is also growing a pool of promising Scrum Masters with focus on certification and practice.
Diana Rusnakova is a fantastic example of an experienced Agile and Transformation Coach. She works with organizations and trains and coaches people every day.
In her recent blog she summarizes following qualifications as key for a successful Scrum Master: 🔹 open to learn 🔹 good listener 🔹 problem solver 🔹 facilitator 🔹 good communicator 🔹 able to speak out also when communicating to management 🔹 able to work systematically and structurally
Diana also underlines that it takes years of practice to gain the leadership that is reflected in the role. ‘After all, leadership is a journey.’ We at VPP Solutions are looking at ways with our customers how we can offer practice through internship for young and ambitious Scrum Masters.

The shocking situation and developments in the Slovakia’s neighbor country Ukraine makes us speechless, and our feelings cannot be expressed in words. Our prayers and support are with the Ukraine people, heroes who are fighting not only for their country but for freedom, independence, and democracy of the world. As the neighboring country, Slovakia is supporting people fleeing from the war in many ways. Not just the state and NGOs but also individuals are providing help, time, energy and housing.

📃‘Slovak’s economy is recovering from a deep shock’, this is what the latest OECD report (January 2022) titles in it's summary. 🧑💼 With regards to employment, the report continues and mentions ‘the overall impact has been limited thanks to prompt policy support, in particular job retention schemes. While the impact of the crisis differed significantly over time and across sectors, firms and workers, the recovery is set to accelerate. 💶 Looking ahead the report encourages swift and effective implementation of the ambitious recovery program that the government has set.
